February 4, 2011 Local birding in Carp.

Bird feeders continues to supply much enjoyment for viewing birds this winter. The number of finches keep changing day to day along with the variety. Today, 4 species were recorded at the Niger feeder including one Hoary Redpoll. There were 100+ Common Redpoll, 22 Pine Siskin, and 40+ American Goldfinch.

While Siskins and Redpolls dominant the Niger Feeder.
